Artist Profile

I was born into a second generation military family on a Canadian base in Lahr, Germany. 

She spent most of her childhood between Europe and Alberta before moving to New Brunswick in 2007. moving so much helped me practice my art and develop many skills.

My roots are in both the western and eastern sides of Canada. 

I am currently living and working out of Grand Barachois NB creating Paintings, jewelry and seasonal crafts.

I am is a Multi-media nature artist with a love for whimsical surreal colour.  

Colour influence me in a way that i am unable to describe so I try to recreate this with movement, texture, light and colour. With every piece I created I want to capture the feelings that nature inspires within her. 

My paintings are very bright and colourful, Emphasizing the more vivid colours of nature because this is what I see.

The mediums I use most are acrylic paint, textured acrylic, pencil, pen, and some graphic art.

Most of my work is envolves water, aquatic wildlife, and birds. 

But I also challenges myself constantly looking for fresh new ideas and points of views to further develop myself as an artist. but I do not paint people or pets because my inspiration comes from the wild things.

I love to teach and inspire others with the vivid colours and facinating creatures mother nature designed.  

I hope that through art I can bring more awareness to the alarming problems that faces us concerning endangered species, nature conservancy and the many other threads to the wild world. 

It is my goal to support these efforts whenever and however I can.
